GAMING @ ADROIT-VNRVJIET-HYD

Posted by rizrmw in Untagged

a very dissapointing show by the organisers.that is what i can say here about this messy event.

me and ma frnz arrived thereto just get shocked by the config of the systems where even CS 1. lagged and cldn manage more than 50 fps. the computers sucked and the lan was equally worse.

the next blow was that the organisers had no idea about how the gaming event has to be conducted.they put thier own random rules and all bull**** ideas.

NFS @ IGC09-HYDERABAD

Posted by rizrmw in Untagged

hey folks this is just an overview of the igc09 nfs game conducted at the hyderabad -somajiguda gameplex on 4th-5th feb'09.

i first filled in the registration form in the second week of january and finally after 3 weeks i got a call from the zapak admins that i have my match on 4th feb-09.fine with that and i went at1 o clok .the scheduled time was 12 and still there was no sign of any games going on even at 1 o clok.the reason is that there are no completed profiles for playing the tourney and the best joke was that the cafe manager himself didnt have the admin password and thus we were stuck in there for more than 30 mins without doing anything.

GAMING @ ADASTRA-SNIST

Posted by rizrmw in Untagged

the first thing that i would like to say is the snist people are making gaming events as a business to rake up good amount of money and fill their pockets where the organisers are playin an active part and it would not be surprising if even the management also has a hand to that.

the first thing tht was surprising was the py-n-play system where a person pays Rs30 and playes an hour but then this is not a part of tournament.for the actual tourney the registration fee is separate again Rs50.the players who register for the tourney also have to pay Rs30 for practising.in this manner the organisers raked up a gud amont amount of money.

Report: Ubisoft Picks Up Midway's Wheelman

Report: Ubisoft Picks Up Midway's Wheelman Reports suggest Ubisoft has purchased open-world action/driving game The Wheelman from beleaguered developer and publisher Midway Games.

The title was rumored to have exchanged publisher hands over the past week, and retail sources now list Ubisoft as the publisher, not Midway, according to a report from game weblog Kotaku.

Originally announced in 2006 for PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360,Wheelman features a digitized version of actor Vin Diesel as its protagonist, as he's pulled into a gang war in Barcelona, Spain. Midway's Newcastle, England studio was developing the title with Diesel's Tigon Studios.
